Prior to launching Little-Belters I spent many months researching and analysing the market – culminating in me drawing up a list of criteria of what I wanted and what I would avoid. This approach has served me well in buying well in excess of 500 cars over the last couple of years. HOWEVER every now and again I come across a car that does not fit the criteria BUT grabs my attention – there is just something about it. This is one of those handful of cars.

I spotted this at a Nissan Main Dealership down in Somerset – as soon as I checked it out – I wanted it. If it does not sell – my plan is to keep it for my personal collection – in the belief this will become a Classic.

So – train down to Taunton (Senior Rail Card!) collected and set off for Stockport. It was a fabulous drive all 5 hours of it PLUS it averaged over 60 mpg on the way back!

Truth is I knew these are good cars – but this one has over 200k miles on it and is getting on for 15 years old. Well you would never know it and it would put many a younger car to shame! For over a decade the last owner really has looked after it. I have included some pictures of the paperwork – there is a mass of it.

Who in their right mind would pay £1500 for a car like this? Well I would – but there again I am a certified Barmpot – Just ask my wife!
