I sourced this from a Toyota Main Dealer and used my Senior Rail Card to go up to Carlisle to collect it. On the 100 trip back down the M6 it drove extremely well and despite the wind and the rain I could still hear the Archers! In very good condition both inside and out and I can understand why the last lady owner kept it for 15 years. It has some scratches and the odd dink but I have seen cars 10 years younger with more. For me this model is one of the best small hatchbacks of the last 20 years and they are in great demand for a reason. Putting it through the workshop we decided to replace front brake discs and pads with new.

Good cars like this in the “budget basement” price range are not easy to find. As ever there will be cheaper ones around – the question is – are they any good?

In the present climate anything decent is being snapped up and I see no reason this should be any different.
