The D-Word

Some 6 months ago we made a conscious decision to stop buying Diesel cars. Now the reasons for doing so seem pretty obvious BUT at time they were not. Not only did we stop buying them we strongly advised those customers who wanted to purchase Diesel vehicles against doing so. There is no doubt that over the period we have actually lost sales because of this – despite the fact we always made clear that if a customer “instructed” us to buy we would do so. This is not a case of being wise after the event – it is more a matter of being ahead of the curve!

The point is this – our philosophy is not just to sell cars – it is to provide our customers with sound Advice – not because we wish to interfere but because we are help – particularly when we can see “storm clouds” ahead.
